OurDream AI gives you more for your subscription than most AI girlfriend apps: unlimited chat, image and video generation, and 1,000 dreamcoins a month. The catch is that video and voice are billed by the second and the minute, and the coins go faster than the number suggests. This OurDream AI review covers what you pay, what the coins buy, and what the company's own documents say when something goes wrong.
We also found something most reviews miss. OurDream's homepage makes a privacy promise that its own privacy policy doesn't back up. We cover that in the safety section.
Generous coin allowance, strict refunds, one privacy claim to ignore
OurDream AI is a real US-registered business that publishes what every feature costs, and its annual plan includes far more media credit than most rivals. But refunds stop at 25% usage, crypto is never refunded, and the homepage's 'end-to-end encryption' claim isn't what its privacy policy describes. Pay yearly only if you'll use the media features.

What OurDream AI is, and who runs it
OurDream AI is an adults-only companion platform. You chat with characters you build or find in the community library, and generate images, videos and voice of them. The same account works on ourdream.ai and ourdream.io.[1] On its homepage, OurDream says it has "over 10 million dreamers," 7 million user-made characters and a Discord with more than 2,000 daily members.[4] Those are the company's own figures; we can't check them.
The operator is Dream Studio USA, Inc., a Delaware corporation at 1111B S Governors Ave STE 28684, Dover, DE 19904.[1] The refund policy also names Dream Studio LLC and Tektopia Ltd as providers.[3] Sign-up includes a statement that you're 18 or older, plus age verification where the law requires it.[1]
Two terms are worth knowing before you pay. Disputes go to binding individual arbitration with a class-action waiver.[1] On the plus side, you own the generations you create,[1] and OurDream allows commercial use of images and videos you generated yourself, as long as they follow its policies.[22]
How we reviewed OurDream AI
On October 7, 2026 we read OurDream's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy (both last modified August 26, 2026), its Refund Policy (March 9, 2026), its homepage pricing and FAQ, and more than 30 help-center articles on billing, coins, refunds and moderation. We then checked its Trustpilot and ScamAdviser listings and collected public user reports from independent review sites. Every claim below links to its source.
We haven't yet paid for a plan and logged a test month. When we do, this section will show the checkout, the bank-statement name, real coin balances after image, video and voice use, and a real cancellation. Until then, we report only what OurDream publishes and what users say in public, with no invented test results.
OurDream AI pricing and the true yearly cost
OurDream sells a single subscription on two billing terms. Both include unlimited messages, image and video generation, and 1,000 dreamcoins a month.[4]

Annual is half the price of paying monthly over a year, and it comes with more coins. By our count, the annual plan delivers about 13,000 coins in the first year (2,000 up front plus 1,000 at each of the next 11 monthly renewals), against 12,000 on monthly billing.[5] If you're unsure, a month at $19.99 is the cheaper way to find out. Six months of monthly billing ($119.94) already costs more than a full year on annual.
OurDream's help center has an article explaining why annual subscribers see $119.88 on their statement: "You pay for the entire year upfront," and the next charge comes 12 months later.[5] If you were expecting $9.99, that charge is correct.

What dreamcoins buy
Chat is free for subscribers. Almost everything else runs on dreamcoins, and OurDream publishes the full rate card in its help center, which Candy AI doesn't do in public:[6]

Read the table as a budget. A month's 1,000 coins covers about 200 images, or 20 minutes of voice calls, or under a minute of standard video. Image-focused users will find it generous. Video-focused users will run out within days.
Do dreamcoins expire?
OurDream's help center contradicts itself here. One article, edited February 2026, says plainly: "Coins do not expire!"[9] The older cancellation article (December 2025) says unused coins "remain in your account until billing period ends," and that reactivating "creates a new subscription" in which previous unused coins "are not restored."[8] One independent reviewer who cancelled reports that their unspent coins stayed on the account.[19] Until OurDream reconciles the two articles, spend your coins before you cancel.
Is OurDream AI free?
You can sign up without paying, but the free tier is a preview. Free users pay 1 dreamcoin per chat message and lose access to most features.[6] Images and videos need a subscription,[11] and so does buying coins.[10] If you cancel, your images and videos are blurred until you subscribe again.[9] We found no free trial in OurDream's help center. Is OurDream AI safe and legit?
Legit: yes. A named US company runs it, its legal documents are complete and recently updated, and ScamAdviser gives ourdream.ai a trust score of 100, "very likely safe." ScamAdviser also notes the domain was registered on November 19, 2024, that the owner uses WHOIS privacy, and that the registrar is one it associates with a high share of spam sites.[17] None of that is unusual for a young app in this category.
Safe for your data: read this before you share anything personal.
OurDream's homepage FAQ says: "Your chats are safe with end-to-end encryption… No one can read them, not even us."[4] The privacy policy describes something different: data encrypted "at rest and in transit using industry-standard AES encryption and TLS 1.3," on a SOC 2 Type 2-certified hosting platform.[2] That is standard server-side security, and it means the provider can access the data. The privacy policy doesn't mention end-to-end encryption at all. When the two disagree, the policy is the document that counts.
- The privacy policy lists using personal information "to train our artificial intelligence/machine learning models."[2]
- OurDream does not respond to browser "Do Not Track" signals.[2]
- You can't upload photos of real people. OurDream says this is to prevent deepfakes,[16] and it also means your own photos never reach its servers this way.
- Deleting your account is permanent. It removes generations, chats and unused coins with no refund, and takes 24 to 48 hours.[13]
Does OurDream AI have an app?
No. OurDream's help center says it has no standalone mobile app. Instead, you open ourdream.ai in Safari or Chrome and choose "Add to Home Screen."[12] That means any "OurDream AI APK," "free APK" or "mod APK" you find is not an official OurDream release. Unlocked-premium APKs are a common way to spread malware, and OurDream's terms ban trying to evade its technical protections or reverse-engineer the service.[1] We don't link to them.
OurDream AI refund policy and how to cancel
How to cancel
- Go to ourdream.ai/profile.
- Click Cancel subscription.
- Confirm the cancellation.[8]
You keep access until the end of the period you paid for, and cancelling doesn't trigger a refund.[8] One independent reviewer reports that cancelling took four screens and included an offer to stay at 30% off, which they declined.[19] Keep the confirmation, because rebilling after cancellation is the most common complaint we found (see below).

To ask for a refund, open your profile, click Request Help, and give the product, the charge date and amount, and your reason. OurDream says it picks up requests within 24 to 48 hours, and that approved card refunds take 5 to 10 business days. After a refund, unused coins are removed and your media is blurred.[7]
Be careful with chargebacks. The refund policy says a chargeback filed without contacting support first may get your account suspended while OurDream investigates.[3] Email [email protected] first and keep the thread.
What OurDream AI users report
Public feedback on OurDream is scattered, and some of the usual places aren't available. Here's what we could verify:
- Trustpilot: on Oct 7, 2026, the ourdream.ai page said the profile had been removed because the business "goes against our guidelines."[18] Trustpilot doesn't say why, so we don't guess. Candy AI's profile shows the same notice.
- HushVerified: its user reviews (about 15) report charges after cancelling. OurDream replied there that this "is not expected behavior and may be the result of a billing issue." Other users complain about how fast coins run out (one calls the system a "dark pattern") and about the content filter. At least one user reports a successful €104 annual refund.[20]
- The Companion Index: an independent reviewer who paid for 14 days reports that the bank statement showed DREAMSTUDIO.CO, with nothing naming the app.[19] OurDream doesn't publish its billing descriptor, so treat this as one user's statement until we confirm it ourselves. Third-party report
- OurDream itself admits its content filter is "a bit too sensitive right now and may flag safe content," and says it has to stay strict to satisfy its payment providers.[21]
