DarLink sells itself on two things: adult content on every plan, and AI-generated images and video of your companion. It also publishes its prices more fully than most rivals, down to message caps. This DarLink AI review covers what those plans cost on each billing term, what NSFW video costs in tokens, and the parts of DarLink's own policies that matter most if you ever want to leave.
One finding most reviews miss: DarLink's refund policy says cancellation takes effect when its support team receives your written notice. We explain what that means, and how to cancel safely, below.
Cheap media and clear tiers, but leaving is harder than joining
DarLink publishes every plan and message cap, includes NSFW chat, images and video on all tiers, and its yearly Essential plan works out to $9.99 a month. But its refund policy ties cancellation to a written notice, refuses refunds for change of mind, and lets it hand your private messages to your bank in a chargeback. Its discount badge and countdown timer also overstate the deal.
You want NSFW chat plus cheap images and some video, you've read the cancellation rule, and you'll commit to quarterly or yearly billing.
You want an easy exit, a refund if you change your mind, or a free tier you can rely on.

What DarLink AI is, and who runs it
DarLink (darlink.ai) is an adults-only AI girlfriend platform. You create a character or pick one from a community feed, chat with it, and generate images and video. Its homepage FAQ describes it as a platform to "chat with and generate images of AI companions tailored to your preferences," and lists voice messages and "video interactions."[5] Many characters on the public feed are user-created and marked NSFW.
The operator is FameLink SA, company number CHE-443.347.069, at Les Mengartes 37, 2828 Montsevelier, Jura, Switzerland.[2] The site footer gives the same address and [email protected].[5] The terms say DarLink is "strictly intended for adults," and you must be 18 or older to use it.[2]
The terms also describe two subscription types: a standard subscription, and an "Influencer-Specific Subscription" that gives access to one influencer's AI persona.[2] This review covers the standard plans.
How we reviewed DarLink
On October 7, 2026 we read DarLink's Terms of Service, Refund and Cancellation Policy and Privacy Policy (all "last updated August 2025"), its plan-selection page on all three billing terms, and its homepage FAQ. We then checked ScamAdviser and Trustpilot. Every claim links to its source.
We haven't yet paid for a plan. When we do, this section will show chat quality, memory, image and video output, the bank-statement name, and a real cancellation. Until then, we report only what DarLink publishes and what users say in public, with no invented test results.
DarLink AI pricing and the true yearly cost
DarLink has three plans. All include NSFW, image generation at 2 tokens and video generation at 20 tokens. They differ in coins, message caps, voices and memory:[1]

DarLink's FAQ says cards work for monthly and annual plans, and crypto is available "only for annual plans and without auto-renewal."[1] The yearly view shows a "Pay with Crypto" button under each plan. Paying yearly by crypto is the one way to buy DarLink without a subscription that renews itself.
The "SAVE 44%" badge and the countdown timer
The billing toggle advertises "SAVE 15%" on quarterly and "SAVE 44%" on yearly.[1] Using DarLink's own prices, here's what each plan actually saves against monthly billing:

No plan reaches 44% on yearly billing by this measure. We don't know what DarLink compares against to get 44%. Unverified The real savings are still worthwhile, at roughly a quarter to a third off.
The page also shows an "Offer ends in" countdown. We loaded the plan page twice on October 7, about eight minutes apart, and both times it showed roughly 10 hours 46 minutes remaining. That's consistent with a timer that restarts on each visit rather than a real deadline. Don't let it rush you.
DarLink NSFW: what's allowed
The plan page lists "NSFW" on every tier, and its FAQ says: "Yes, on all plans—as long as it follows our Terms of Use: legal, consensual content only, with no minors or forbidden themes. Any non-compliant requests are automatically blocked."[1]
The terms, last updated August 2025, are more conservative on paper. They list "pornographic, sexually explicit, or highly obscene" content among prohibited content, while also saying DarLink "may allow some adult-oriented conversation between consenting adults." They specifically ban sexual content involving minors, bestiality, rape or non-consensual sexual violence.[2] In practice the site markets NSFW openly, with "AI NSFW Chat" and "AI Porn" links in its footer,[5] so the plan-page FAQ looks like the current rule. The older wording in the terms still gives DarLink room to remove content it considers too explicit.
The terms also ban trying to get around content filters, "for example, using obfuscated language," and let DarLink review, screen or remove content "at any time for any reason."[2]
DarLink NSFW video and image generation
This is what people mean by "DarLink AI NSFW video review" and "image to video." Here's everything DarLink publishes about it:
- Price per item: images cost 2 tokens and video 20 tokens, on all three plans.[1]
- Monthly allowance: 100, 300 or 500 coins a month depending on plan.[1]
- Description: the homepage promises "expressive photos," voice messages and "immersive video-like moments."[5]
The plan page says "coins" for the allowance and "tokens" for prices. We assume they're the same unit. Unverified If they are, here's what each plan's allowance buys:

Images are cheap here. Video is the scarce item: five clips a month on Essential. DarLink doesn't publish video length, resolution, whether audio is included, or whether you can animate any image or only some. Unverified We also can't tell you how explicit or realistic the output is without testing it, so we don't. That section will be added with dated examples after hands-on testing. Is DarLink AI free?
Not in any way DarLink spells out. The homepage title calls it a "Free AI Girlfriend Generator,"[5] the terms mention downgrading to a free or basic tier,[2] and the refund policy mentions downgrading "to a free plan."[3] But the plan page lists only the three paid plans and doesn't say what a free account includes.[1] One third-party pricing guide reports a free allowance of about three messages.[8] Third-party report Treat DarLink as a paid app until we confirm the free tier ourselves.
Is DarLink AI safe and legit?
Legit: yes. A registered Swiss company runs it and publishes full legal documents. ScamAdviser gives darlink.ai a trust score of 87, "very likely safe," and concludes it is "very likely not a scam but legit and reliable." It notes the domain was registered on November 6, 2023, the owner is hidden on WHOIS, and the site "has received mainly negative reviews."[6]
Safe for your data: read the policies, because the plan page and the privacy policy don't say the same thing.
The plan-page FAQ says: "All your data is encrypted and handled securely. We never share your personal information with third parties, and your chats stay private between you and your AI Companion."[1] The privacy policy says DarLink shares data with service providers for hosting, cloud storage, analytics, customer support, email, payments and "image or voice recognition," lets partners such as Google Analytics and Facebook Pixel set cookies, and may share data with affiliates.[4] Read "never share" as "never shares with other users," which is what the policy actually promises.
- AI training: "we might train our AI on anonymized conversation data to improve response quality."[4]
- Licence to your content: the terms grant DarLink a "perpetual, irrevocable" licence to content you submit, including for marketing and improving the service.[2]
- Chargebacks: if you dispute a charge, DarLink "reserve[s] the right to disclose all relevant account and communication records" to the bank, which "may include private messages."[3]
- Deletion: you can delete your account in settings or through support; residual backups may remain "for a period of time."[4]
- Disputes: non-US users are bound by Swiss law and arbitration, US users by New York law and arbitration, with a class-action waiver. New users can opt out of arbitration by written notice.[2]
How to cancel DarLink, and the refund rules
DarLink's two documents describe cancellation differently:
- The terms say web subscribers can cancel "through your account settings on the Website or by contacting our support," and app-store subscribers must cancel through Apple or Google.[2]
- The refund policy says: "Cancellation takes effect once our customer support team receives your written cancellation notice," and asks you to email [email protected]. It says the team replies in about 72 hours (three business days).[3]
Our advice: do both. Cancel in your account settings, then email [email protected] from your account email with "Cancel my subscription" in the subject, at least four days before renewal. Keep their reply.

Tokens "have no cash value" and refunds can't exceed what you paid.[3] If you need a refund for a genuine error, write to support before your bank: a chargeback lets DarLink share your chat history as evidence.
What DarLink users report
- Trustpilot: 2.6 out of 5 ("Poor") from 11 reviews, all in the last 12 months. 55% are 1-star. The profile is claimed, but Trustpilot notes DarLink "hasn't replied to negative reviews." Top mentions include subscription, customer communications and cancellation.[7] Eleven reviews is a small sample.
- ScamAdviser also flags that the site "has received mainly negative reviews."[6]
- DarLink's own testimonials on the plan page are attributed to handles "via Reddit" and "via Discord." We couldn't trace them to source posts. Unverified
