Search Candy AI app and you get a mix of web pages, APK download sites and app-store listings with "Candy AI" in the name. Here is what Candy itself says about its app, what we found when we searched the App Store and Google Play on Oct 7, 2026, and the safe way to put Candy AI on your phone.
There is no native Candy AI app for iPhone or Android. Candy runs in your browser and offers a web app (PWA) you add to your home screen. App-store listings called "Candy AI" that we found are from unrelated developers, and Candy doesn't publish an APK.

Is there a Candy AI app for iPhone or Android?
No. Candy's help center is direct about it: "Candy.ai does not offer a native mobile app for iOS or Android. Instead, the platform is fully accessible via your mobile web browser."[1] The article was last updated June 19, 2026.
What Candy offers instead is a Progressive Web App, or PWA. A PWA is a website you save to your home screen. It opens full-screen like an app, without the address bar. Candy says it chose this route because it gives "a fast, immersive app-like experience," a cleaner screen and push notifications.[1] The candy.ai site itself prompts you to "Get App to Receive Notifications" and shows the "Add to Home Screen" steps.[2]
So when Candy's own page title calls it an "AI Girlfriend App,"[2] it means the web app, not something you download from a store.
How to install the Candy AI app on iPhone and Android
These are Candy's own steps.[1] They take about 30 seconds and don't involve any download.

What's on the App Store and Google Play
Because Candy has no store app, any listing named "Candy AI" comes from someone else. We searched both stores on Oct 7, 2026:

Sources for the table: Google Play listings[3] and the Apple App Store search.[4] Neither Play listing links to candy.ai, and Candy runs as EverAI Limited of Malta.[5] We haven't installed these apps and don't know what they do. We're simply reporting that they aren't Candy's. If one charges you, the charge won't show as EverAI, and Candy's support can't help with it.
Candy AI APK and "mod APK": what to know
"Candy AI mod APK" gets about 590 US searches a month, and "unlimited messages APK" variants show up too. Two facts matter here:
- Candy doesn't publish an APK. Its only mobile option is the web app.[1] An APK file is, by definition, made by someone else.
- "Mods" break Candy's terms. The terms say you will not "decompile, disassemble, or reverse-engineer" the service and will not "circumvent any security feature of the Services or any feature that restricts or enforces limitations on the use thereof."[5] Unlocking unlimited messages or free tokens is exactly that.
Also, typing your Candy email and password into an unofficial app hands those details to whoever made it. What works on mobile
Candy's help center describes these features on phones:
- Live Action (interactive adult video for selected characters) is "only available on mobile for Premium users."[7]
- Image generation toggle works "on both desktop and mobile," so you can stop chats from spending tokens on images.[8]
- Saving videos: on a phone, tap and hold the video for 2 to 3 seconds, then choose "Download video."[9]

Billing without an app store
