Candy AI's headline price is "$3.99 a month." That's real, but it's the cheapest of five ways to pay for the same subscription, and it's billed as one annual payment. Depending on which button you press at checkout, a year of Candy AI costs anywhere from $47.88 to $291.20. This guide lays out every Candy AI price we could verify on October 7, 2026, what the plans include, and what costs extra after you pay.
Candy AI Premium costs $47.88 a year on the 12-month plan, $26.97 a quarter, or $9.99 for the first month, then $13.99 a month. Weekly ($5.60) and every-two-weeks ($9.79) billing also exist and cost far more over a year. Every term includes unlimited chat and 100 tokens a month. Images, video and voice use tokens, and top-up prices aren't published.

Candy AI pricing: every plan and price
Candy AI sells one Premium subscription on five billing terms. The subscriptions page lists the same benefits for each: create your own AI girlfriend(s), generate 18+ videos and images, a "Full Live Action Experience," unlimited text messages and 100 tokens per month.[1]

The page's fine print says plans renew automatically "for the same price and term," that you can "cancel any time," and that charges appear as "EverAI" on your bank statement.[1] It also claims Candy AI is "trusted by 50 million people worldwide." That's Candy AI's own figure, and we can't check it.

The weekly plan is the trap. $5.60 looks like the smallest number on the page, but it's the most expensive way to pay: about six times the annual price for exactly the same features. Two months of weekly billing ($44.80 over eight weeks) already costs nearly as much as a full year on the annual plan.
Candy AI Premium vs Premium Plus
Candy AI's help center describes a second tier, Premium Plus, as "our newest subscription tier."[4] Here's how the two compare on paper:

We couldn't see a Premium Plus price on the logged-out subscriptions page. It may appear only inside the app or for some regions. Unverified We'll add it after a logged-in check, and we won't estimate it in the meantime.
Does Candy AI cost money at all?
To use it beyond a taste, yes. The help center says free users can send up to 5 messages in chat across all characters, create one custom AI character, and generate one image.[5] The terms put it the same way: free users "may generally send a maximum of 5 messages," and "further use requires a subscription."[2] There's no free trial, but the $9.99 first month is the cheapest way to test it. Candy AI tokens: the second price
Paying makes chat unlimited. Most other features run on tokens. According to the help center, tokens pay for:[6]
- Image generation, and turning a suitable image into a video
- Creating a custom AI
- Listening to voice messages and voice calls (beta)
- Unlocking "My Private Content" packs on a character's profile
Premium includes 100 tokens a month, credited on the day of the month you first subscribed. Annual subscribers also get 100 a month, not 1,200 up front.[3][10] When they're gone, you're prompted to buy more, but "the Chat functionality will remain accessible."[7] Extra tokens are sold at candy.ai/tokens.[8]
The token store at candy.ai/tokens asks you to sign in, and Candy AI doesn't say what a feature costs in tokens. A user asked exactly that under the help article ("What are the prices? What can i do with 100 tokens? how many picture of video's?") with no published answer.[6] Unverified We'll publish the token rate card and pack prices after a test purchase.
Two rules make tokens cost more than they look. The terms say unused tokens expire when your subscription ends and don't carry over to a new plan, and if you file a chargeback, remaining tokens are revoked immediately.[2] (A help article updated Aug 25, 2026 says cancelling does not delete your tokens;[14] the terms are binding, so spend them before your period ends.) Candy AI's terms also call tokens non-transferable with no cash value.[2]
Payment methods and what shows on your statement
Candy AI accepts credit and debit cards, crypto, Apple Pay, Google Pay and bank transfer (Volt, Pix) for both subscriptions and tokens. Options vary by location.[9] Whatever you use, the charge shows as "EverAI," the Malta company that runs Candy AI.[1] If you found that name on a statement and want to know what it is, see EverAI charge on my card, explained.
Comments under the payment-methods help article include users saying they paid by card or UPI and their Premium didn't activate.[9] If that happens, contact support within 24 hours, because that's also the refund window.
Renewals, price increases and pausing
- Automatic renewal: plans renew "for the duration and price disclosed at checkout."[2]
- Price increases: prices "are subject to increases from time to time," but Candy AI says it will tell you before a renewal at a higher price.[2]
- Backup card: if you designate a saved card as a backup and the main one fails at renewal, the backup can be charged.[2]
- No pausing: the help center says pausing isn't possible; you can only cancel.[12]
- Plan changes take effect from the next billing cycle.[2]
Candy AI refunds
The refund window is short. Subscription refunds must be requested within 24 hours of payment, only for card payments, and are denied if more than 20 tokens have been used. Token packs are refundable within 24 hours only if unused.[11] EU and UK residents have a 14-day withdrawal right on the first purchase, not renewals, less a prorated amount for what they've used.[2] Cancelling doesn't trigger a refund by itself; you have to ask support.
The cheapest way to pay for Candy AI
- Try the 5 free messages first. They show whether the chat style suits you.
- Unsure? Pay $9.99 for one month and set a reminder to cancel before it renews at $13.99.
- Staying? Switch to the $47.88 annual plan. It costs less than four months of monthly billing ($51.96).
- Never pick weekly or two-week billing. They cost 5 to 6 times as much over a year.
- Watch for tax. The page says local taxes may apply, so the charge can be higher than $47.88.[1] One PissedConsumer reviewer reports expecting $3.99 and being charged $52.[13]
Is Candy AI worth the price?
On the annual plan, if you mainly want text chat, it's among the cheapest adult companion subscriptions we've checked: $47.88 a year against $119.88 for OurDream AI's annual plan. The value drops fast if you want images, video and voice, because 100 tokens a month is a small allowance and top-up prices are hidden.
