You're checking your bank app and there it is: EVERAI, maybe with "Santa Venera" or "Malta" after it, and an amount like $47.88 or $13.99. You don't remember buying anything called EverAI. This page tells you what the charge is, how to confirm it, how to stop it, and how to try for a refund, which you need to do fast.
An "EverAI" charge is Candy AI, an adult AI companion app at candy.ai. Candy AI's own subscriptions page says: "Charge shown as 'EverAI' on your bank statement." The company is EverAI Limited of Santa Venera, Malta. To stop it, cancel at candy.ai → My Profile → Settings → Unsubscribe. What is EverAI?
EverAI Limited is the Malta company that owns and operates Candy AI. Candy AI's terms name it, with registration number C107181 and an address at 56 Central Business Centre, Triq Is-Soll, Santa Venera SVR 1833, Malta.[3] The same name and address appear in the footer of Candy AI's subscriptions page.[1]
Malta's public register data, via the directory Overit, shows EverAI LIMITED as an active private company, registered on December 14, 2023, with "computer programming activities" as its business.[4] EverAI's own website, everai.ai, describes it as "building the future of AI companionship" and refers to its "flagship product" without naming Candy AI. It lists [email protected] as a contact and has no customer login.[5]
- "EverAI Santa Venera": Santa Venera is the Maltese town where the company is registered. Banks often append the merchant's town or country.
- "EverAI Limited Malta": the same company, with its country added.
- "EverAI login": there isn't one for customers. Log in at candy.ai instead.
- "EverAI AI girlfriend": Candy AI is the AI girlfriend app billed under this name.
Candy AI only documents the plain name "EverAI."[2] The exact wording on your statement depends on your bank and the payment processor. Unverified We'll record the exact statement line after a test purchase.
How to confirm the charge is Candy AI
- Search your email for "Candy," "candy.ai," "candymail" and "EverAI." Sign-up and payment emails usually arrive the same day.
- Try logging in at candy.ai with your usual emails, or use "Forgot password" to see whether an account exists.
- Match the amount to Candy AI's prices (table below).
- Ask others on the card. A partner, family member or anyone with saved card details may have subscribed.
- Still nothing? Email [email protected] with the date, amount and the card's last four digits. Candy AI's help center asks for the account email and the last four digits when you query a charge.[9]

A charge of about $52 on an annual plan is consistent with $47.88 plus tax; one PissedConsumer reviewer describes expecting $3.99 and being charged $52.[12] If the amount repeats weekly or every two weeks, you're on the most expensive terms. How to cancel the EverAI subscription
- Log in at candy.ai with the email used to subscribe.
- Open My Profile, then Settings.
- Scroll to your subscription details and click Unsubscribe.
- Follow the prompts to confirm.[6]
You keep Premium until the end of the period you've paid for, and you won't be charged again.[3] Pausing isn't possible; cancelling is the only option.[13] Two tips from what users report:
- Use a desktop browser if the button is missing. A commenter under the help article says only "Delete Account" appeared on their phone.[6]
- Screenshot the confirmation and keep any email. It's your evidence if a renewal appears later.
You can't remove your only saved card while subscribed; the help center says at least one payment method must stay on file.[10] Cancel first, then remove the card after the period ends.
How to request an EverAI refund
Cancelling doesn't refund anything by itself. Candy AI's help center is explicit: "Cancelling your subscription does not automatically issue a refund."[8] You must email support, and the rules are tight:

What to send to [email protected]: the email on the account, the charge date and amount, the last four digits of the card, and one line saying you're requesting a refund under the 24-hour policy (or, in the EU or UK, that you're exercising your right of withdrawal). Candy AI's terms include a model withdrawal form for EU and UK users.[3]
Comments under Candy AI's refund article include users saying their refund request went unanswered, one after almost 24 hours.[7] Send your request as early as possible and keep the sent email as proof you asked inside the window.
If you didn't make the EverAI charge
- Check that no one you know used your card (see the steps above).
- Email [email protected] with the card's last four digits and ask them to cancel any subscription and refund the charge.
- Call your bank to dispute the charge as unauthorized, and ask whether to replace the card.
Know what a dispute does. Candy AI's terms say that if a chargeback is filed, the purchase "is immediately cancelled," and premium access and remaining tokens are revoked.[3] For a charge you never made, that doesn't matter. If the charge was yours and you just regret it, a chargeback ends the account's paid access, so try support first.
Still charged after deleting your account?
Candy AI has a help article for exactly this: "I've deleted my account. Why do you keep on charging me?" It says deleting an account before the renewal date "will automatically cancel any active subscription as well." How to avoid surprise EverAI charges
- Set a reminder two days before each renewal.
- Choose annual or nothing. Weekly and two-week billing create many more charges for the same service.
- Don't save a backup card. Under the terms, a designated backup card can be charged if your main card fails at renewal.[3]
- Watch for price changes. Candy AI says it will notify you before renewing at a higher price.[3]
