OurDream AI's main draw over plain chat apps is media: images, video, voice and narration, all paid in dreamcoins. Unlike most rivals, OurDream publishes what every feature costs. This guide lays out the full rate card from OurDream's help center (rechecked Oct 7, 2026) and works out what a month of coins actually buys.
Images and video need a subscription. Standard images cost 10 coins per 2, standard video 100 coins per 5 seconds (max 60 seconds), and Ultra Quality video 200 coins. Plans include 1,000 coins a month, which is about 200 images or 50 seconds of video. Failed generations are refunded automatically, and you can't upload photos.

What a month of coins actually buys
Both plans, $19.99 a month or $119.88 a year, include 1,000 dreamcoins a month, and the annual plan adds 1,000 coins up front.[2] The rate card says subscribers receive 1,000 coins "on their billing anniversary" and that dreamcoins "do not refresh monthly."[1] We read that as coins being added, not reset, but OurDream doesn't spell it out. The takeaway: video is where coins go. One maximum-length 60-second standard video (1,200 coins) costs more than a month's allowance. Adding audio to that video would cost another 1,200 coins (20 per second). More coins can be bought only with an active subscription.[3] Prices for coin packs are in our OurDream pricing guide.
The OurDream video generator
Video is subscriber-only.[4] You can make standard clips in 5-second blocks up to a minute, extend a clip by 5 seconds (which raises the original cost by 50%), enhance it, add audio, or choose a single Ultra Quality video at 200 coins.[1] OurDream's prompt guide says that for better video you should "describe the main action clearly," "keep prompts focused on single scenes," and mention camera angles and pacing.[5]
We haven't yet generated test videos, so we can't judge resolution, motion quality or how Ultra Quality differs from standard.
The OurDream image generator
Images come from the generator (10 coins per 2), in chat (5 each), or automatically during chat (5 each; "frequency does not change cost").[1] You can enhance or edit images with two models, Spark and Eclipse.[1] OurDream's prompt advice: be specific, include style and mood, mention lighting and composition, and avoid vague or contradictory instructions. Its example: not "A person" but "A young woman with long dark hair, smiling, outdoor setting, natural lighting."[5] It also warns that "results will never be 100% identical."[5]
Rules: photo uploads, content flags and NSFW
- No photo uploads. OurDream doesn't allow uploading reference photos "due to possible deepfakes and other legal problems."[6] If you want to generate images of a real person, OurDream won't do it.
- Content flags. OurDream admits its system "is a bit too sensitive right now and may flag safe content," and says it keeps it strict "to comply with our third-party payment providers."[7]
- Adult content. OurDream's homepage is gated "Adults Only" and says it lets you "generate NSFW images and videos of your AI companion," realistic or anime-style.[2] Content-policy blocks still happen, and coins are refunded when they do.[8]
Failed generations and coin refunds
When a generation fails, coins come back automatically "within a few minutes." That covers timeouts, server errors and content-policy violations.[8] If your coins aren't back after 15 minutes, refresh, log out and back in, then contact support with the time, what you were generating and your balance.[8]
Who owns your generations, and what happens if you cancel
OurDream lets you use your images and videos commercially if you generated them yourself and they follow its terms.[9] That's more permissive than Candy AI, which bans commercial use (see our Candy AI video and image guide).

Can OurDream AI make videos?
Yes, for subscribers. Standard video costs 100 dreamcoins per 5 seconds, up to 60 seconds (1,200 coins). Ultra Quality video is 200 coins per video, enhancing a video is 50 coins per 5 seconds, and adding audio is 20 coins per second.
Is the OurDream image generator free?
No. OurDream says "you need a subscription to generate images and videos." Free accounts can only chat, at 1 dreamcoin per message.
How many images can I make per month on OurDream?
Plans include 1,000 dreamcoins a month. At 10 coins per 2 standard images, that's up to 200 standard images if you spend coins on nothing else. In-chat images cost 5 coins each, so also about 200.
How long a video can I make with my monthly coins?
At 100 coins per 5 seconds, 1,000 coins buy 50 seconds of standard video. A full 60-second video costs 1,200 coins, more than one month's allowance. The annual plan's extra 1,000 coins up front covers that.
Can I upload a photo to OurDream AI?

Do I get coins back if a generation fails?
Yes. OurDream says dreamcoins are refunded automatically for timeouts, server errors and content-policy blocks, usually within a few minutes. If not refunded after 15 minutes, contact support with the time and what you were generating.
What happens to my OurDream images and videos if I cancel?
They're blurred until you subscribe again; OurDream keeps them on your account. Download anything you want to keep before cancelling.
Can I use OurDream images commercially?
OurDream's help center says yes, if you generated them yourself (not another user) and they comply with its terms and policies.
