CrushOn AI is one of the bigger unfiltered character-chat sites, built around a large library of community-made characters. Plans are now metered by "message credits," the old unlimited Deluxe tier is marked retired, adult content sits behind age verification, and the Terms of Use were rewritten on September 22, 2026. This CrushOn AI review covers who runs it, how the plans work, the $0.99 age check, refunds and chargebacks, and what users report.

Short answer: CrushOn is a legitimate, operating service run by a named company, TECHIEPIE LTD. But it's harder to price than most rivals. We couldn't load its pricing page, refunds are the exception rather than the rule, and its privacy policy reserves the right to train on chats. Use the free plan first, and read the live pricing card before buying anything annual.

Our verdict

A big character library with a complicated meter and strict money terms

CrushOn's strength is its community library and features like group chat. Against that: a credit system whose per-message cost we couldn't verify, no general refunds, chat data that may be used for training, and a 1.8 Trustpilot rating. Its September 2026 terms are more balanced on payment disputes than many rivals'.

Provisional score, based on CrushOn's Terms of Use (Sep 22, 2026), Privacy Policy (Mar 6, 2025), site code, wiki, Trustpilot and ScamAdviser, all read Oct 7, 2026. We couldn't read the live pricing page, and hands-on testing is pending.

What is CrushOn AI, and who runs it?

CrushOn lets you create characters and chat with your own or other users' characters using generative AI. Under its terms, "the basic Service is free to use" and "message credits can be purchased for full use." Creators can also sell "Paid Content" that users unlock with Diamonds.[1] You must be at least 18 and have reached the age of majority where you live.[1][2]

The operator is TECHIEPIE LTD. The site footer gives a registered address at Strovolou 77, Strovolos Center, Nicosia, Cyprus, and a second address at 8 The Green, Dover, Delaware.[1] The terms list 302-722-1830 and [email protected] for questions and complaints. They also say "the Service shall be deemed solely based in Hong Kong."[1] Trustpilot's unclaimed profile lists Anguilla as the contact country, which matches none of these.[6]

One wording point is worth knowing. CrushOn markets itself with footer links like "AI Porn Chat," but its terms on user submissions bar posting material "that is NSFW, pornographic, or otherwise sexually explicit."[1] Read literally, that clause covers what you post or submit to the service, which isn't the same as private chats. The terms don't say how it applies to unfiltered character chats, so treat it as unclear rather than as a ban.

How we reviewed CrushOn

On October 7, 2026 we read CrushOn's Terms of Use (last modified September 22, 2026), its Privacy Policy (last modified March 6, 2025), its Coins and Diamonds page, the subscription page on its official wiki, its Trustpilot and ScamAdviser pages, and the text bundled in its public site code. When we tried to load crushon.ai/pricing, it returned "The operation frequency is too high... Please complete the verification process." We didn't try to get around that check, so the dollar prices below come from a third party and are unverified by us. We didn't buy a plan.

How much does CrushOn AI cost?

CrushOn's site code confirms the current plan names (Free, Standard, Premium, Luxe, Elite and Imperial), a "Retired" label used for Deluxe, and a separate "Pro Models Chat Package." It describes that package as "unlimited, credit-free access to Pro Models," noting that "most Pro Models require a membership."[3] The prices don't appear in the code. The most recent full reading we found comes from Depravity.ai, a competitor that says it rendered the page on September 21, 2026:[7]

PlanMonthlyAnnualMessage credits / month
Free$0n/a100
Standard$5.99$58.882,000
Premium$14.99$94.886,000
Luxe$39.99$299.9920,000
Elite$89.99$799.9955,000
Imperial$199.99$1,799.99125,000
Pro Models Chat Package (add-on)$39.99$299.99Unlimited Pro-model chat
Unverified Prices as reported by Depravity.ai (a competing product) for Sep 21, 2026. Plan names and the Chat Package are confirmed in CrushOn's site code; prices are not. Older reviews quoting Deluxe at $49.90 or Premium at about $10.49 a month on annual billing describe an earlier version of the page.[8]

How credits work: according to the same report, every plan includes "Unlimited access to Free Models," while Pro and Ultra models "consume credits." CrushOn's site code uses the same wording.[3][7] What we couldn't find anywhere is how many credits one Pro or Ultra message costs. Without that number, 6,000 credits could last a month or a weekend. The official wiki still describes the older Standard, Premium and Deluxe tiers as message allowances (2,000, 6,000 and unlimited a month), so it's out of date on this point.[4]

Before buying annual

The terms only describe monthly recurring billing, renewing "on the same calendar day each month," even though annual plans are sold.[1] Combined with the no-partial-refund rule, a year is a long commitment on a pricing page you should screenshot when you buy.

Is CrushOn AI free?

Yes, with limits. CrushOn's wiki lists the free plan as 100 messages a month, up to 8K memory, up to 10 profile cards, and "shared chat capacity (may be unavailable during peak times)," with no group chat.[4] The site code adds that on the free plan "Chat History will be deleted after 7 days of inactivity," while paid plans keep history "during the Membership Period."[3] CrushOn Coins are earned through daily logins, creating characters and inviting friends. They have "no monetary value outside the CrushOn.ai platform." Diamonds are bought, and the ones you give to a creator become that creator's income.[5]

The $0.99 age check: what it is, and the free options

Unfiltered or 18+ characters require adult verification. CrushOn's site code shows three routes:[3]

  • Payment Verification, $0.99: "Complete verification with a $0.99 payment. Upon successful verification, the following benefits will be credited to your account automatically: 60 Diamonds, 300 Coins, and a 5-Day Standard Membership trial." Another string says the card must be "under your name."
  • Didit, free: a selfie ("no document needed") or an ID upload, with the note "Verified by Didit. We don't store your document images."
  • AgeGo, free: "You may complete verification free of charge via AgeGo. This method does not include the benefits package."

Trustpilot reviewers in July and August 2026 complained that the paid route amounts to a paywall, with one calling it "not age verification — it's a paywall."[6] Those reviews don't mention the free Didit and AgeGo options. We can't tell whether every user sees all three options, or whether some regions or accounts only see the card route.

Is CrushOn AI safe? What its privacy policy says

  • Training on chats: "We may use User Content to train AI models." For chats, the policy says content is used "in a general way for training our models and we will not link chat contents to specific users."[2] No opt-out is described.
  • Advertising: in the mobile app, third parties may collect device identifiers and ad data "to develop and assess aspects of a profile about you."[2] The policy names Google Analytics and explains how to opt out of it.[2]
  • Selling data: "We do not sell or 'share' Financial Data," and CrushOn says it doesn't store financial data. The policy doesn't make the same promise for identity and contact data, which it "may use... for Commercial Purposes."[2]
  • Retention: personal data is kept "for so long as it is reasonably necessary," with no fixed period.[2]

ScamAdviser rated crushon.ai "Very Likely Safe" with a trust score of 100.[9] That's an automated check of the website and business signals, not a review of the product or its privacy practices. For a deeper look at the safety side, see our guide Is CrushOn AI safe?

How to cancel CrushOn AI, and the refund policy

  1. Web subscriptions: go to Profile → My Subscription → Manage → Cancel Subscription. "Upon cancellation, service will remain active until the end of your current billing cycle. No further charges will occur."[1]
  2. Do it before the renewal date. "Failure to do so will result in a charge for the next billing cycle, which will not be refunded except as expressly provided in Refund Policy above or required by applicable law."[1]
  3. App Store or Google Play: CrushOn's FAQ text sends refund questions for those purchases to Apple or Google.[3]
  4. Questions: the terms send subscription questions to a support ticket on Discord, or to [email protected].[1]

Refunds: "Usage fees are non-refundable except as expressly provided in this Refund Policy or required by applicable law." CrushOn doesn't give "partial refunds or credits for unused time, mid-cycle cancellations, or downgrades." Purchases of virtual items, including Diamonds, "are final and non-refundable" on the same terms.[1]

Chargebacks, as of September 2026: the current terms are notably more balanced than the July 2025 wording a competitor quoted.[7] They prohibit "fraudulent or abusive" disputes, but state that "nothing in these TOU prevents You from raising a genuine dispute," and that "a genuine payment dispute alone does not justify an account-wide restriction or loss of unrelated purchased access."[1] If a payment is reversed, CrushOn may cancel the matching virtual items or access.

What CrushOn users report

  • Trustpilot: 1.8 ("Poor") from 22 reviews on an unclaimed profile, 91% one-star and none at three stars or above, on October 7, 2026.[6]
  • Billing support: a US reviewer (July 2026) says her first monthly renewal charged her but dropped her to the free tier. She says she was charged a second time after following support's instructions on Discord, and was offered half a month's extension instead of a refund.[6]
  • Age check: several reviewers (July and August 2026) object to the $0.99 card payment for unlocking unfiltered content.[6]
  • Filtering: a September 2026 reviewer says self-harm themes in a character backstory trigger refusals. An August 2026 reviewer reports "This character cannot engage in NSFW content" messages on innocuous prompts.[6]

What we like

  • Large community character library, group chat and a free plan with 100 message credits a month
  • Named operator: TECHIEPIE LTD, with addresses in Nicosia, Cyprus and Dover, Delaware
  • Free age-verification routes (Didit selfie or ID, or AgeGo) alongside the paid $0.99 option
  • Cancel path is written into the terms: Profile → My Subscription → Manage
  • September 2026 terms say a genuine payment dispute alone won't justify an account-wide ban

What to watch

  • No membership is unlimited by itself on the current page, according to third-party reports; unlimited Pro-model chat is a paid add-on
  • We couldn't read the live pricing page: CrushOn served a "complete the verification" block
  • Usage fees and virtual items are non-refundable except where the terms or the law say otherwise
  • Privacy policy says chat content may be used to train AI models, with no opt-out described
  • Free-plan chat history is deleted after 7 days of inactivity
  • Trustpilot: 1.8 from 22 reviews, 91% one-star

Frequently asked questions

Is CrushOn AI legit?

It's a real, operating service run by a named company. Its Terms of Use (last modified September 22, 2026) and site footer identify TECHIEPIE LTD, with addresses in Nicosia, Cyprus and Dover, Delaware, and list a support phone number and email. ScamAdviser gives it 100; Trustpilot users give it 1.8 from 22 reviews.

How much does CrushOn AI cost?

We couldn't verify this ourselves, because crushon.ai/pricing showed us a verification block on October 7, 2026. Depravity.ai, a competitor, says the page it read on September 21, 2026 listed Standard at $5.99 a month, Premium at $14.99, Luxe at $39.99, Elite at $89.99 and Imperial at $199.99, plus a $39.99 Pro Models Chat Package. CrushOn's own site code confirms those plan names and the Chat Package, but not the prices. Check the live page before you pay.

Why does CrushOn charge $0.99 for age verification?

The $0.99 card payment is one of several verification options, not the only one. CrushOn's site code describes it as "Payment Verification" that also credits "60 Diamonds, 300 Coins, and a 5-Day Standard Membership trial." The same code offers free verification through Didit (selfie or ID) and AgeGo, without the bonus package. Several Trustpilot reviewers in July and August 2026 objected to the paid option.

Can I get a refund from CrushOn AI?

Not as a rule. The September 22, 2026 Terms of Use say "Usage fees are non-refundable except as expressly provided in this Refund Policy or required by applicable law," and that CrushOn doesn't give partial refunds for unused time, mid-cycle cancellations or downgrades. App Store and Google Play purchases follow those stores' refund rules.

How do I cancel CrushOn AI?

On the web, go to Profile → My Subscription → Manage → Cancel Subscription, as the terms describe. Do it before your next billing date, since a missed renewal "will not be refunded" except as the Refund Policy or law allows. If you subscribed through Apple or Google, cancel in that store's subscription settings.

Does CrushOn AI use my chats for training?

Its privacy policy (last modified March 6, 2025) says "We may use User Content to train AI models," and that chat content is used "in a general way for training our models" without linking it to specific users. We didn't find an opt-out for this in the policy.
