The most common Replika billing complaint isn't about price. It's about being charged after someone thought they'd left. Replika subscriptions are billed by whoever sold them to you (Apple, Google, PayPal or Replika's web checkout), and each one has to be stopped in the right place. Here's how to cancel Replika properly, checked against Replika's help center on October 7, 2026.
Settings (gear icon) → Subscription → Cancel subscription, in the app or at my.replika.com. Then confirm that Replika no longer appears under active subscriptions in Apple, Google Play or PayPal, whichever you paid with. Deleting the app does not cancel it. You keep paid features until the end of the period, and Replika does not refund unused time.

Step 1: Find out where you subscribed
Replika's terms say you can modify or cancel a paid subscription "only through the App marketplace where you originally acquired the subscription."[2] Its help center adds: "We do not manage PayPal, App Store, or Google Play subscriptions on our side."[1]

Step 2: Cancel in the Replika app or on the web
- Open the Replika app, or go to my.replika.com and log in.
- Tap the gear icon (⚙️) in the top right to open Settings.
- Tap Subscription.
- Tap Cancel subscription and follow the prompts.[1]
Then do the confirmation check for your platform below. Replika's own guide tells users to confirm in the store, because a subscription still listed there "has not been canceled."[1]
How to cancel Replika on iPhone
- Open the iPhone Settings app.
- Tap your name, then Subscriptions.
- If Replika is listed under Active, tap it and choose Cancel Subscription.[1]
The terms say an App Store purchase is final and "subject to Apple's applicable payment policy."[2] If you want to try for a refund, request it from Apple, not Replika.[3]
How to cancel Replika on Android
- Open the Google Play Store.
- Tap your profile icon → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions.
- If Replika appears under active subscriptions, open it and cancel.[1]
Google handles Play Store refunds, and Replika says it can't process them for you.[3]
How to cancel a Replika PayPal subscription
- Log in at paypal.com.
- Go to Settings → Payments → Manage Automatic Payments.
- Select Replika and cancel.[1]
Should you delete your Replika account?
Only if you want your data gone, and only after cancelling billing. Replika's help center is blunt: "Deleting the Replika app or your account does not automatically cancel your subscription."[4] Store subscriptions keep renewing until you cancel them in the store.
Account deletion is also permanent. The terms say "all the data associated with your use of the Services will be removed permanently," with paid access ending at the close of the billing period.[2] If you might come back, just cancel. You'll drop to Free Use at the end of the period and keep your companion.[2]
Cancel the subscription first, confirm it's gone from Apple, Google or PayPal, and only then delete the account. Once the account is deleted, it's harder to prove which subscription was yours.
Can you get a refund after cancelling Replika?
Expect not. Replika's refund policy says "All purchases are final once the payment is completed," and that it can't refund "any time already used" or "any remaining time left on your active subscription."[5] The terms add that refunds can't be claimed for any partial-month period.[2]
- Billing errors: Replika asks you to send your receipt and account details to support if you think there's been a mistake.[5]
- EU residents: the terms recognise a 14-day withdrawal right for digital content, but say it doesn't apply once performance has begun with your express consent.[2]
